About Us
Clover Cottage was born out of a love of quilting. Friends and family would gather every chance we had to make creations of all kinds, but most of all to enjoy each other’s company. We challenged each other and that love of quilting and the memories we made grew larger every day. We would joke about how amazing it would be to have a quilt store. With the closing of several stores in our local area it was the final push for me to make that dream become a reality. I was going to open a quilt store.
My name is Joni Cody and I have been a creative entrepreneur my entire career. The bulk of my career has been spent owning and operating an Aveda hair salon. After selling the salon, I continued to work there until I found the next adventure I wanted to take. I have a wonderful supportive husband of 33 years and two amazing children who live her in town, so we get to see them most days. What more could a girl want?
Fabrics, notions, patterns, ideas of every size shape color and experience level. Collaborating with people every day about the possible creations that await. Our store is a quaint and welcoming space for you to visit and enjoy either in person or on line. A lovely brick building in downtown Emmetsburg Iowa, we carry many lines of new and exciting fabric that is expanding every day. In addition to fabric, we carry a wide assortment of needles, thread, stabilizers, pillows, patterns and notions of every kind.
